Hi, I'm an artist and erstwhile land manager based in the UK with an interest in flying, photography and am owned by a Hungarian @vizsla called Luna.

I've always been obsessed with flying. My early years through teens were spent designing and flying R/C model aircraft, though somehow I ended up studying Rural Estate Management at The Royal Agricultural College Cirencester - I tried to leave - but that's another story.

After a quick diversion into advertising via a Scientific Illustration course (1986), I escaped for a year to New Zealand and Australia. What followed was 30 years of land and estate management, interspersed with painting wildlife and MScs in Natural Resource Management (2004) and Geographical Information Systems (2009). I was (and still am) proud to have been elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in 2004.

My interest in flying has persisted since my early days, through hang-gliding, gliding, to finally getting my PPL(A) in 2011. I've experienced the trials-and-tribulations of building your own aircraft and owned one (the one-and-only Barker Charade) and am now looking keenly at the developments in modern light aircraft.

Now I've popped out of the land management tunnel, I'm finding a rekindled love of painting and illustration. And walking with my dog :)
